The Sciuridae, or better known as Squirrel, is a very common animal, which belongs to the Rodent family. There are over 200 species of squirrel living around the world, excluding Australia. A squirrel's diet consists of mostly plants and nuts, but they are capable of, and sometimes do, capture and eat small animals. Along with their quickness and agility, squirrel are terrific climbers. While they make homes in trees, their diets vary along with the other animals inhabiting the trees they live in, as well as surrounding ones.
