The Meloidogyne Incognita are Nematodes that embed themselves on roots. The larve are laid on the roots of plats, such as sweet potatoes, and feed off the nutrients of the plant. The so called "Root Worms" are infecting plants all over the world. A staggering fact about the Meloidogyne Incognita is that they account for 5 percent of the of the worlds crop loss. With the abundant amount of reproduction of the Root Worm, crops and fields and farms are continually affected by the detrimental affect of Root Worm infections.
Like most, or all, Nematodes, the Meloidogyne Incognita does not have a circulatory system. Their body uses a function called diffusion to distribute oxygen throughout their bodies. They take in oxygen through their skin and distribute it throughout their cells and to other major organs.
